Sometimes you get more interested to see the news channel than ever before. i think it may ’cause of this too:-) yeah!! i do this and guess you too.. I am going to list the pretty cool anchors of news channel in India.
the list is not by ranking!!

Sonia Shenoy is one of the most popular news analysts with CNBC-TV 18 having an experience of more than five years. Born in the year 1987, she is a senior research analyst and financial markets anchor for the channel. Shenoy analyses and anchors prime-time financial programs like ‘Bazaar Morning CALL’, ‘NSE Closing Bell’ and ‘Markets and Macros’. She has also co-anchored other shows like ‘Markets Today’ a daily stock of the financial fluctuations and global market events; and ‘Taking Stock’ – a weekend stock market program which is a wrap-up of the trading action for the entire week.  Mitali Mukherjee has been with CNBC-TV18 for 5  years. She leads the market coverage for the channel  as News Editor, Markets

Mitali Mukherjee was part of Network 18’s business channel CNBC TV 18 for the last ten years. As Markets editor she anchored the channel’s flagship show Bazaar for close to a decade. She was also the face behind several series like ‘Wealth Creators’, ‘the power of change’ with Idea Cellular , ‘Classroom’ a pioneering show on retail education and several investor initiatives organised across the nation.

She was an Anchor and Researcher at CNBC-TV18 and also headed the news ticker team. She recently ( May 2010) joined ET Now.

She started her career in the television media as a reporter in 1999. Before that she had a brief stint as a print journalist with Asian Age.
A shy person by nature, Naghma was into academics and coming face to face with million of viewers was certainly not something she planned for herself.
She joined NDTV in 2003 and has since been anchoring primetime news on NDTV India while also reporting on important events. Covering stories that touch human lives has been Naghma’s forte.
